Good Chemistry Brewing is looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver & Brewery Assistant to join our small and friendly team. The role will be varied but your main focus will be the timely, safe and efficient delivery of our beer to Bristol and the surrounding area. When not out in the van, you’ll be helping out in the brewery with packaging beer, cleaning kegs and casks, organising the warehouse, and other jobs to help the brewery run efficiently.

Us: Kelly & Bob running a 10bbl brewery behind Temple Meads established in late 2015, with a team of seven others. We brew a range of beers to cask, keg, and can across a broad range of styles. Based in St Philips, at the heart of the East Bristol Brewery Trail, we care deeply about building our community and creating good chemistry in its broadest sense.

You:
Full clean driving licence, and over 25 years of age for van insurance purposes
Physically fit and healthy – kegs and casks are heavy!
Not afraid of hard work and getting your hands dirty
Great attention to detail to ensure the best service to our customers
Logical, organised and efficient in order to plan your delivery routes and plan your day
Brewery and/or driving experience preferred but not necessary
A desire to contribute to the successful growth of one of Bristol’s best breweries

This is a physically demanding role where you will be out in the van, in the warehouse, and on the brewfloor for all of your time. It would suit someone good at dealing with people but happy working on their own. Flexibility and enthusiasm are important in a small business. The work can be repetitive, physical, and at extremes of temperature – sometimes a mixture of all three – so you have to really want to work in a brewery.

Being part of our team means extra-curricular activities too – we run and are involved in numerous events through the year. Because you’re a sociable person who likes talking about beer, we hope you will join us at these events and, where possible, get behind the bar to pull some pints (eg East Bristol Brewery Trail weekends).
